INGREDIENTS:
8 cups chopped red onion
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup red wine
2/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 tbsps soy sauce
1/4 olive oil
DIRECTIONS
For everyone who has ever asked for this recipe.....here it is! Deceptively easy...
Saute onions in the olive oil until soft. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Add red wine vinegar, red wine & soy sauce. Cook on a low heat for approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours until thick and quite dark. Serve with your favourite BBQ'd Galloping Goose sausage.
